Red Sweater

Knitting on a sailboat is the perfect past time. Yarn is light weight, easy to store, and you can put down your knitting at any time to help with boat projects, then pick it right back up again.

Kodiak Island has so many knitters willing to share their skills and talents. My learning curve has been steep, filled with many hints, tips and new techniques.

The red sweater is at long last finished and it fits. The pattern was from Knittingfools.com- even after multiple gauge samples the sweater did not fit- I knit the full body 6 times before I got it right. I won't give up- the moto of this sweater. (But I now have a pattern that fits me)
